Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel

Welcome to your first day in Cappadocia! You've just arrived at İstanbul Atatürk Airport after an overnight flight from London. You'll be met by our transfer driver and taken to your hotel, where you can check in and rest for a while. You may want to take advantage of this time to rehydrate with some tea or water and prepare yourself for a long day tomorrow.

Day 2: Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Tour & Tour

The hot air balloon tour will be made of two parts. The first part is the flight itself, which will take you to one of Cappadocia’s most amazing spots. After that, we will have a tour around the area by bus. You will see all the wonderful places in Cappadocia, such as Göreme Open Air Museum, Uçhisar Castle and cave churches. During this time you will also visit Taylor Valley with its stunning views, which are like something out of a fairy tale.

The Cappadocia balloon tour is a great way to experience the area. You’re given a hot air balloon, and you float over the land for about an hour. The scenery is absolutely unbelievable: from volcanic cones, to fairy chimneys, to canyons that look like they belong in a fantasy novel. If you have time before or after your trip—which I highly recommend—you should take some time to explore some of these otherworldly caves!

There are many ways of getting there from Istanbul, but none are direct; if possible, choose an itinerary that includes stops at least once in Ankara or Kayseri so that you can see more than just Cappadocia itself. Remember that this is going to be an overnight trip (or longer) so pack accordingly!
